Jean-Charles Neau's short bio
I am an entrepreneur and change agent with a goal to enable growth and transition, innovate with meaningful and sustainable i m p a c t, develop and advance knowledge, share it.
I am building my professional experience along a “fil rouge” of client orientation.
In addition to my consulting activities, I am a member of Swiss Institute of Board Directors, I contribute to business magazine Bilan.ch and I serve as a pro-bono Mentor at Swiss Fintech incubator Fusion and start-up competition Venture. I am also a lecturer in university and an essayist.
Educated as a scientist and engineer, I joined a start-up after my Master degree to accomplish a passion for entrepreneurship, business development and innovation. Starting as the 8th engineer, I contributed to an entrepreneurial journey where the company grew to 200 before being acquired.
This was a founding experience: we integrated digital technologies with a rapid prototyping approach strongly involving end-users. We were practicing what is known today Design Thinking and Agility. This approach of change management has not left me.
I then moved to the business side, as a Management Consultant to advocate and implement client centricity, innovative leverage of digital technologies in the field of client relationship management, and to raise the bar on client satisfaction and sales effectiveness.
As a Senior Manager with one of the former Big 5, Arthur Andersen, we exemplified excellence, integrity, intellectual rigor, passion for clients and innovative projects.
I then moved to Wealth Management as COO and Chief of Staff at a time of intense change and uncertainties.
Today, I am back to Management Consulting to facilitate innovation, growth and transition.
I supported 30+ companies from different countries, sizes, cultures and business sectors on 40+ sensitive, risky and innovative projects touching clients, people, technology, sales, CRM and One to One Marketing.
I like to solve problems with a mix of creativity and sound business analysis.
To make things happen with lasting impact, I invest tremendously in change and project management, handling with care the transition and alignment of people, culture, organization and tools. I am especially at my best when coordinating multiple experts towards a common goal.
And to make it sound and wise, I work with business owners on strategy and planning to analyze the why, how much and how.
I favor experimentation, partnerships, knowledge transfer and coaching attitude.
With this strategic view and a passion for disruptive technologies that facilitate people/client/user life, I see opportunities where others see risks, which closes the loop with my engineer background and client centric mindset.
